CBD & Multiple Sclerosis, the Next Big Thing?

Dizziness. Nausea. Constant pain. Issues that no one should have to live with. Unfortunately, many suffering from Multiple sclerosis describe those symptoms and more as common daily occurrences. Multiple sclerosis is a disabling disease of the spinal cord & brain. It disrupts the flow of signals between the brain & body. As a result, permanent nerve damage & deterioration often occurs. There is no cure for the estimated 2.3 million sufferers and few treatments available to help manage symptoms. This frequently leaves them at the mercy of this debilitating condition. Consequently, many people with MS are now turning to alternative therapies & treatment options. Cannabidiol (CBD) is on the forefront. CBD & Multiple sclerosis may be the next big thing.

CBD is thought to hold therapeutic qualities such anti-nausea & anti-inflammation. Pain relief and more. Thus, CBD acts on your body’s endocannabinoid system. It is a network of receptors found in the central & peripheral nervous systems. Brain, immune cells, fat, and muscle that interact with receptors found in cannabinoids.  Let us explain how CBD & Multiple sclerosis may go hand in hand.

Research suggests that the endocannabinoid system regulates nausea & dizziness in humans. Chemotherapy patients have been relying on cannabinoids for some time. Especially CBD, to fight such symptoms. So, those dealing with Multiple sclerosis have done the same. In a web-based survey done by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 66% of those with MS said they currently rely on cannabinoids for treatment.

One in particular, Anne. She has also implemented CBD in her wellness routine. To fight feelings of nausea and dizziness caused by MS.

Anne’s Testimonial

She notes, “I was diagnosed with RRMS (Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis) 20 years ago. Over the last few years, I have developed dizziness, nausea, and issues with my balance. Berkeley Gold CBD oil has really helped me in managing some of my symptoms. Many mornings I wake up feeling dizzy and nauseous. Therefore, I can take the Berkeley Gold CBD oil and within 20 minutes or so, I am feeling better!

CBD has helped balance Anne’s endocannabinoid system. Allowing her to better manage her symptoms. This natural, plant-derived alternative is doing wonders for her quality of life! She continues, “Berkeley Gold CBD oil has changed by life. I am incredibly grateful.”

Final Thoughts

Further studies are certainly needed to evaluate CBD in Multiple sclerosis treatment. But, the reported therapeutic uses appear to be promising. Thus, the medical community has shown as increased interest in CBD. Therefore, we are hopeful their findings will uncover future treatment benefits. Not only for Multiple sclerosis, but other diseases. Wellness, naturally.

What is Delta-8?

gmo 200x

With the popularity of isolated cannabinoids on the rise, one in particular stands out with many raving about its potential uses & benefits…Delta-8 THC. Like many topics in the cannabis space, there tends to be misinformation and confusion regarding the subject matter. Therefore, this post will detail background on Delta-8 and cover its reported uses and applications.

Delta 8-THC one of the hundred plus cannabinoids that naturally occur in the cannabis plant. It is formed when Delta-9 THC becomes oxidized. Delta-9 THC is commonly referred to as THC, the cannabinoid that is known to get you “high”. Like other cannabinoids, Delta-8 is believed to interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which plays an important role in promoting homeostasis.

According to the National Cancer Institute, Delta-8 THC is “An analogue of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with antiemetic, anxiolytic, appetite-stimulating, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties. [Delta-8-THC] binds to the cannabinoid G-protein coupled receptor CB1, located in the central nervous system…This agent exhibits a lower psychotropic potency than [delta-9-THC], the primary form of THC found in cannabis.”

Consequently, those looking to avoid the overwhelming and mind-racing feelings associated with Delta-9 THC are turning to Delta-8 as an alternative. Although Delta-8 carries psychoactive properties, it is reportedly far less psychoactive than Delta-9 THC. In addition, Delta-8 is receiving high praises for the medicinal benefits. Let’s dive into those below.

REDUCE NAUSEA
In 1995, Israeli scientists administered Delta-8 to youth cancer patients who were dealing with nausea related to chemotherapy treatment. They discovered it significantly alleviated the nausea and vomiting, with a 100% success rate over 480 treatments. In addition, they observed minimal side effects.

INCREASE APPETITE
A 2004 study found that Delta-8 can also be used to increase food consumption in test subjects suffering from appetite suppression. Test subjects who were given Delta-8 saw a 16% increase in food intake compared to the control group. Moreover, cognitive function had a tendency to improve!

DECREASE ANXIETY
For many people, consuming the more-known Delta-9 THC increases anxiety, causing panic and overwhelming feelings. With Delta-8 being far less psychoactive, users are reporting a clearer head, sharper mind, and lessened anxiety. It appears Delta-8 is ideal for individuals who want feel relaxed without the heavy “stoned” feeling & mind-racing side effects associated with Delta-9.

FINAL THOUGHTS
As research continues on this particular cannabinoid, the benefits appear very promising. The medical community has shown an increase in research focus with Delta-8. The National Cancer Research Institute making a public statement regarding this cannabinoid indicates awareness on the its potential usage in cancer treatments moving forward. We are optimistic that further studies will continue to unveil therapeutic qualities, furthering the mission of natural health & wellness.

July 4th Freedoms

Although this upcoming 4th of July may be a little different past years, we can count on Americans to nonetheless celebrate to the fullest extent allowed. Fireworks, cookouts, and trips to the lake will occur regardless of the circumstances! The first half of 2020 has been interesting to say the least, and although it is much easier said than done, it is crucial to try and maintain a positive outlook amongst these uncertain times. That being said, let’s turn our attention to the things we can control this 4th of July as we celebrate our freedoms as Americans. Freedom from stress & anxiety, independence from pain, and the freedom from insomnia. Here at Berkeley Gold, we believe the therapeutic properties found in CBD can help you achieve personal, mental, and physical liberties as we move forward in the second half of 2020.

INDEPENDENCE FROM PAIN

One’s quality of life is arguably one of the most important elements of living. Chronic aches and pains have been known to not only impact people physically, but they also take a huge emotional and mental toll on one’s mindset. Living in constant pain can lead to feelings of despair and long lasting depression. This holiday weekend, do not let those nagging aches & pains prevent you from running around chasing your kids, wakeboarding at the lake, or keep you feeling down. There is a natural solution many are relying on to combat these problems, CBD. Applied topically, our Relief Cream has a deep penetrating formula to help soothe and relax the most stubborn of muscles. While our Freeze Gel provides immediate, cooling relief for most aches and pains. Remember, CBD works at the biological level, acting on your body’s internal systems to fight chronic pain & inflammation, achy joints, sore muscles, etc…

FREEDOM FROM DAILY STRESSES & ANXIETY

It goes without saying that a majority of us experience some levels of stress and anxiety on a daily basis. This  4th of July, it may be the stresses of preparing food for your closest family & friends or concerns over social distancing on such a festive day. Others may experience general anxiety & feelings of uncertainty regarding the current health situation in our world. Fortunately, the holistic remedy of CBD is within reach to help fight those feelings. CBD’s calming properties can help bring peace of mind and tranquility in even the most stressful of circumstances.  Make sure you don’t forget the panic your four-legged friends may experience when those fireworks go off. Our Dog Chews will help lessen their anxious feelings!

FREEDOM FROM INSOMNIA

After your festivities are complete, you will certainly be ready for your 7-8 hours of sleep. Even though your neighbors across the street may still be shooting off fireworks or the teenagers in your living room continue to make noise, you understand the importance of rest. Luckily, many have turned to CBD to assist in achieving just that. Users are raving about CBD’s ability to ease a restless mind, while putting the body in a state of relaxation to help you get a good night’s sleep.

FINAL THOUGHTS

As we celebrate this 4th of July safely with our family and friends, we should not only commemorate our freedoms as Americans, but let’s also liberate ourselves from mental or physical issues we may be dealing with on a daily basis. Independence from pain, stress & anxiety, and insomnia are never easy, but our Berkeley Gold team truly believes CBD may be the solution you need to help improve your quality of life.

Why We Love CBD

Up to this point, the previous Fields of Gold articles have outlined many CBD related topics… what it is, how it works, it’s history, etc… That being said, this post will directly highlight some of the reported benefits users are experiencing. Before we do that, let’s recap some main points about CBD. Cannabidiol is one of the key naturally occurring cannabinoids founds in the stocks, flowers, and seeds of the cannabis plant. Remember, the cannabis plant has two main species, hemp and marijuana. Hemp has a much higher percentage of CBD, but less than .3% THC. Marijuana typically has low levels of CBD and a high percentage of THC. Therefore, CBD extracted from hemp lacks the intoxicating and psychoactive properties associated with the “high” of marijuana.

CBD acts on your body’s endocannabinoid system, a network of receptors found in the central & peripheral nervous systems, brain, immune cells, fat, and muscle that interact with receptors found in cannabinoids. Depending on desired result, there are various ways to take CBD.  Oil tinctures, nano-gels, gummies and dissolvable tablets can be taken orally. CBD can also be infused with topicals such as gels, creams or salves. As a result, many people seeking natural alternatives to pharmaceuticals have turned to CBD for holistic relief.

Users report a multitude of benefits from its use including immune system support, regulating inflammation, pain relief, lessened stress/anxiety, combating insomnia, seizure treatment, etc… Others add CBD to their daily wellness routine to enhance their overall sense of  well-being. While people have mentioned countless benefits from taking CBD, we’ll go over a few of the main ones.

Inflammation/Pain Relief

The immune system relies heavily on a properly functioning endocannabinoid system. The CB1 and CB2 receptors present in your immune cells are directly affected by phytocannabinoids such as CBD! Thus, many believe CBD helps regulate and support a healthy immune system by helping fight off foreign invaders & potentially life-threatening viruses.

Inflammation is your body’s natural response to injury or infection. It’s a signal for your cells to heal a wound or protect against illness or disease. Unfortunately, your immune system can malfunction, leading to chronic aches and pains. This can be detrimental to your health, leading to numerous degenerative diseases such as arthritis, cancer, asthma, etc…Fortunately, people are reporting positive results with CBD’s ability to provide holistic relief for chronic inflammation. Although all forms of CBD can be taken to combat these issues, many apply CBD Relief Cream and CBD Freeze Relief to help with localized pain and are seeing phenomenal results.

Piggybacking on CBD’s use for chronic inflammation, people are using CBD for both general pain relief and spot specific pain relief.  Like previously mentioned, CBD is believed to act on the body’s CB2 receptor, directly controlling pain. Whether for sore muscles, achy joints, or tension headaches, users are touting CBD as a natural remedy to help combat these issues.

Anxiety/Stress Relief

It’s safe to say a majority of us are affected by stress & anxiety. Whether family issues, difficulties with your boss, or the overall daily grind, stresses and anxiety seem to be par for the course. While stress and anxiety share many physical and emotional symptoms, there’s a distinction between the two.  Stress is what your body produces in response to an alarming event, anxiety is your reaction to that stress. Fortunately, CBD is thought to help with both as many are turning to this holistic remedy to help calm their minds and allow them to live their best lives. Tinctures & fast-acting Dissolvable Tablets are fan favorites!

Combat Insomnia

Similar to how CBD helps individuals with stress & anxiety, many are using it to help them fight sleep related issues. Users are raving about CBD in battling insomnia, especially when combined with melatonin. Melatonin is a hormone naturally produced inside the pineal gland, found just about the middle of your brain. This hormone helps control your internal clock, letting your body know when it’s time to sleep and wake up. CBD Nano-gels w/Melatonin are an efficient and effective method of delivery to help ease a restless mind, allowing people to get the adequate sleep they need to be productive.

Seizure Treatment

The 2018 FDA approval of Epidiolex was a milestone the medical community. Epidiolex, with its active ingredient being CBD, is used in the treatment of seizures and two distinct pediatric diseases. While many people were turning to CBD to help treat seizures, most notably Charlotte Figi, it’s worth noting that approval of Epidiolex was based on sufficient and properly-controlled clinical studies, implying confidence in the drug’s safety and effectiveness for its specified use. The pharmaceutical treatment of various diseases and conditions will not come without the backed medical standards that are afforded with clinical trials and blind studies.

Final Thoughts

The benefits users are seeing from adding CBD to their daily regimens have been nothing short of amazing. While further studies are certainly necessary, the testimonials and report benefits cannot be overlooked. Adding a holistic, natural remedy to people’s daily wellness routines has become a staple.

Turn Self-Isolation into Self-Motivation

With sporting events postponed, in-house restaurant dining closed, schools shut down, & large crowds  prohibited….staying at home is pretty much mandatory. Self-isolation is the only way to protect yourself and others from contracting COVID-19, and it’s crucial to help “flatten the curve” so we can get through this sooner rather than later. On the other hand, quarantining will undoubtedly lead to stir craziness and boredom at times. Sure, there’s plenty of ways we can keep ourselves busy…but what are the healthy, fulfilling ways to help get us through these times? We’ve put together a list of options and strategies to keep your quarantined time both stimulating and possibly even productive.

EAT A BALANCED DIET

It’s very easy to slack and let yourself succumb to that meat lovers pizza or those rocky road ice cream cravings. While a little self-indulgence is never a bad thing, it’s important to try and keep healthy food options available. As hard as it may seem, getting in those fresh fruits & veggies or lean protein sources are crucial to helping maintain an overall sense of health & well-being.  Let’s also not forget to support your local restaurants, so order that Chopped Thai Salad for take-out, and let yourself splurge on that New York Style Cheesecake from your favorite bakery every so often.  Remember, it’s all about moderation.

SOAK UP SOME VITAMIN D

Being cooped up for hours at a time is never pleasant. Fortunately, the spring weather is among us (for the majority of the country) so make sure you take advantage. Go for a stroll, hop on a bike, knock out those crunches, meditate….all outdoors. Physical activity is a great way to help take away some of the tension and anxiety built up being indoors. Take this opportunity to appreciate the sites, smells, and noises of mother nature. Research shows that time spent in the great-outdoors helps increase energy, boosts your immune system, enhances creativity and lessens anxiety, among other things. It’s good for the body, mind, & soul!

REVISIT A NEW YEARS RESOLUTION

Every year, a majority of us make New Year’s Resolutions, wanting to spark positive change. Whether it’s to exercise more, learn a new skill or hobby, limit alcohol consumption or to read more…most of us fall short after the “New year, new me” buzz wears off. There’s no better time to reignite the aspirations you set for yourself months ago. Envision your end objective, set small daily goals, take it one day at a time, and give it another chance…a sense of accomplishment is such a rewarding feeling!

DE-CLUTTER

Ugh, that guest bedroom closet or kitchen cabinet filled to the brim that hasn’t been opened it years. Up until now, you’ve come up with every excuse in the book to avoid cleaning it. It’s been nagging you in the back of your mind, giving you low level anxiety since you know it has to be done. Well, the opportunity is present! There’s no greater feeling than a clean, tidy house. Take the time go rid yourself of useless items that are simply taking up space and causing you stress. An old wise man once said, a clean living quarters breeds a clear mind. Do something now that your future self will thank you for later.

TAKE TIME TO REFLECT

There’s no more opportune time for self-reflection than now. A majority of us have plenty of time on our hands, use this chance to evaluate and better yourself. But, be kind…beating yourself up over past hiccups or mistakes provides no value. Instead, strive for self-improvement. How can you be a better friend, business partner, significant other, parent, son or daughter? Have you been living up to the moral compass you set for yourself? These all are thoughts that run through our minds daily , but are almost always shut out because they’re uncomfortable and difficult to face head on. Remember, nothing gets solved overnight, but baby steps in the right direction will ultimately help you be the person you want to be.

GLASS HALF FULL STATE OF MIND

In uncertain times like these, many fall victim to the circumstances. Of course, it’s always easier said than done…but it’s important to maintain an optimistic mindset. True positivity isn’t blindly ignoring issues or being overly cliche when negative situations arise. It’s more than simply “thinking happy thoughts” or forcing a fake smile. Instead, real optimism is the mindset of accepting uncontrollable circumstances and working towards a plausible solution, rather than dwelling on the issue at hand. It’s a mental attitude that reflects belief, hope, and a favorable outcome. Being positive is a daily challenge that no one ever said would be easy. It requires effort and attention, but the results of a ‘glass half full’ mentality will astound you. Not to mention, positive thinking has been thought to increase life span, boost immunity, strengthen cardiovascular health, and improve wellbeing. Like the late great Bob Marley said, “Don’t Worry Be Happy”

BERKELEY GOLD CBD ON HAND

Last, but certainly not least…don’t forget your CBD! Berkeley Gold CBD is a staple item in a balanced, healthy lifestyle. As a much needed component in your daily regimen, CBD helps regulate your endocannabinoid system, which controls a range of body functions including stress, anxiety, immunity, inflammation, etc… Whether it’s high quality tinctures, fast-acting dissolvable tablets, mouth-watering gummies or refreshing topicals…there’s a delivery method to suit any and all needs.

FINAL THOUGHTS

By staying home, you’re helping both yourself and your community. COVID-19 is extremely serious and we need to treat it as such.  Self-isolation is never easy, but there are healthy ways to get through. Let’s take this time to dive into tasks or thoughts that we’d overwise be too busy for. Instead of vegging out, waiting for time to pass, we should flip on the productivity switch and emerge from this situation better & healthier versions of ourselves.

The Duo: CBD & Esports Gaming

In a post dated several months back, we highlighted CBD’s role in professional sports. Whether it’s to aid in recovery, decrease pre-game jitters, or serve as holistic, non-addictive pain management, there is no doubt Cannabinol plays a major part in athletic competition. That being said, it’s usage in competitive events extends far beyond athletics. What if you were told there was another competitive industry with millions of fans world-wide and billions of dollars at stake that also takes advantage of the abundant benefits CBD offers?

The platform is called Esports, the world of competitive video gaming in which gamers square off in teams or as individuals. Competitions typically take place in multiplayer settings with cash prizes being rewarded to the winning team or individual. There are competitions for simulated sports like NBA or NHL, as well as online battle games like Fortnite and Call of Duty. Although competitive gaming has been around for decades, online streaming services like YouTube and Twitch have now given viewers from around the world the ability to watch these events in real time. Turner Broadcasting, Disney, and several of the largest European & Asian channels also broadcast live esports tournaments. The gamers themselves have become their own breed of celebrity, building fandom similar to that seen in professional sports. For top competitors, the sizable prize money on the line, paid sponsorships at stake, and fanbase expectations are all facets of their jobs. Similar to traditional athletes, esports players make sacrifices, often at the expense of their well-being, to reach the top of their field. Stress & anxiety, physical pains, sleep issues, etc.. all come with the territory. As a result, many gamers are turning to all-natural methods, specifically CBD, to help gain both cognitive and physical advantages over their opposition.

For many high level gamers, being awake at all hours of the night to compete is crucial to their livelihood. As a result, large numbers suffer from chronic insomnia and other sleep related disorders. Hours of bluelight from computers and televisions can also cause sleep cycle dysfunctions. But, adequate sleep is needed for focus, proper brain function, as well as hand-eye coordination, among other things necessary for gamers. CBD is known to ease a restless mind and combat sleep related issues. Numerous esports players are turning to CBD to help fight insomnia and support the natural sleep-wake cycle, which will allow them to perform at optimal levels.

Stress is another issue that esports competitors face on a daily basis. Whether it’s living up to fan or personal expectations or battling with tough competition, the pressures in this dog eat dog environment are inevitable. In the short-term, stress is not necessarily a bad thing. It can increase levels of focus & awareness while boosting reflexes and motor skills, which are beneficial in the gaming experience. On the other hand, long-term and constant stress can often have the opposite effect, causing neurocognitive issues such as memory loss, lack of focus, loss of motor skills, and an overall gloomy state of mind, which do not coincide with success in the esports world. Research suggests CBD may have the ability to help reduce stress while defending the brain from neurocognitive problems. Competitors have added CBD to their daily regimens to help offset the negative effects of chronic stress while still allowing for the short-term benefits of acute stress.

Although esports lacks physical contact, its competitors are still prone to physical aches and pains. After gaming for hours on end, they are very likely to have slouched in their chair at some point and felt physical discomfort. Muscle soreness and inflamed joints are likely to follow, particularly in the neck, back, wrist, elbow, or shoulder areas. For example, Hai Lam, a former esports legend was forced to retire due to persistent wrist issues. Clinton “Fear” Loomis, another well-known gamer has dealt with chronic tennis elbow for years, causing him to withdraw from several major competitions. CBD is believed to act on the body’s CB2 receptor, directly controlling pain and inflammation. Studies also suggest it can be applied topically to reduce spot specific or general inflammation, lessen joint discomfort, and decrease muscle soreness. Not surprisingly, CBD has been extremely popular among esports players looking for a natural, sound approach to pain relief.

It’s quite clear that the uses of CBD and areas of focus for esports competitors overlap. With esports growing at such a rapid rate, the earnings and endorsement opportunities are also multiplying…not to mention reputations at stake. All this gives these fierce competitors extra motivation to outlast the competition. CBD may be the solution for many, providing holistic and effective relief, allowing them to stay at the top of their game.

Give your Immune System a Boost

AdobeStock 305432902 scaled

Sneezing, coughing,….it seems as though everyone around us is sick. No one wants to come down with that irritating cold or potentially life threatening virus. We rely our immune system to help fight off these germs! Did you know there is another system inside our body which helps our immune system combat these outside dangers? It is called the endocannabinoid system, a complex, cell-signaling system that regulates a range of biological functions and aids the body in operating at a necessary level.  This system helps establish a balance among various systems in your body, including the immune system. We’ll provide a little refresher on how the endocannabinoid system works below.

Endocannabinoids are molecules produced inside the body that keep all internal functions running smoothly. Phytocannabinoids (cannabinoids such as CBD that occur naturally inside the cannabis plant) function in the same manner, except they originate outside the body. Their presence ultimately promotes homeostasis, which is essential for health and survival. When consumed, these phytocannabinoids bind to (CB1 and CB2) receptors throughout the body, allowing the endocannabinoid system to regulate processes such as communication between cells, inflammation, immune system responses, chronic pain, stress, etc…  They are then broken down by enzymes after carrying out their intended task. This prevents them from “going too far” and disrupting the balance in the opposite direction. When working at an optimal level, it is quite amazing what the body is capable of!

The immune system heavily relies on a properly functioning endocannabinoid system. CB1 and CB2 receptors are present in immune cells, therefore endocannabinoids and phytocannabinoids act upon your body’s immune system. Thus, CBD and other cannabinoids help regulate and support a healthy immune system.

Inflammation is your immune system’s response to contamination or injury. It’s a signal for you cells to heal a wound or protect from contagious viruses. Unfortunately, your immune system can malfunction, leading to chronic inflammation which can cause a host degenerative diseases such as arthritis & autoimmune diseases. Research suggests CBD has the ability to regulate chronic inflammation, while still supporting healthy acute inflammation in fighting off foreign invaders.

Moreover, CBD and CBG are thought to carry anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties. Studies indicate CBG may be extremely effective in fighting against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, one of the most prevalent hospital superbugs.

Although nothing is a surefire defense against outside germs, CBD’s ability to help regulate the immune system cannot be understated. A balanced endocannabinoid system allows all body functions to operate at an optimal level, including those functions that fight against viruses or diseases.

What is CBC?

The last two posts have outlined CBG and CBN, two lesser-known but highly important cannabinoids. We’ll continue this cannabinoid mini-series by detailing another notable one, CBC. Cannabichromene (CBC) is non-psychoactive cannabinoid that was first discovered in 1966. Similar to CBD, CBC is believed to interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which plays an important role in regulating one’s biological functions. CBC binds well to the body’s TRPV1 and TRPA1 receptors, which are linked to pain perception. This binding specifically increases the natural endocannabinoid production, allowing the endocannabinoid system to maintain its desired state of homeostasis. Let’s get into the specifics of how CBC may be of use in your day to day life.

CBC is thought to be a terrific inhibitor of acne by reducing the production of sebum in the body’s sebaceous glands. High levels of sebum result in blackheads, whiteheads, and other various forms of acne. A 2016 study supports these beliefs, noting “CBC, CBDV and especially THCV show promise to become highly efficient, novel anti-acne agents.”  In addition, CBC is said to hold anti-inflammatory properties, which should also help combat those pesky pimples.

The anti-inflammatory qualities of this cannabinoid extend far the ability to help clear up acne. Research suggests that CBC may  specifically reduce intestinal inflammation. It might also lessen stomach related matters including diarrhea and bloating. Further studies are certainly necessary, but CBC may prove to play a vital role in future treatments of gut related issues including food allergies and certain autoimmune diseases.

Research indicates that CBC may also have a positive influence on the brain. A 2013 study showed that the presence of CBC had a direct effect on NSPCs, which are critical to proper brain function. NSPCs convert into central nervous system cells, which fight against neurological diseases and brain disorders.

Finally, this particular cannabinoid is believed help with stress related issues. A 2010 study done by the University of Mississippi indicated that test subjects who were administered CBC showed improved stress test results compared to those who were not given CBC. Hopefully, these findings will lead to natural, effective ways to combat depression and other mood disorders.  As additional research continues on this particular cannabinoid, it’s therapeutic uses appear to be encouraging. The medical community has displayed an increase in interest with CBC and we’re optimistic that their findings will uncover further benefits.
